Assessment Tools for Rapid Response Team Training

 

The Rapid Response Training Team Assessment Tools aim to:

 

Assess contents and process of the training sessions as regard

·         Module content usefulness and clarity

·         Appropriateness of teaching and learning methodologies

·         Facilitator support throughout the training as perceived by participants

 

Assess immediate outputs of training organized at country level with specific regards to:

·         Number of trainers trained in Training of Trainers

·         Number of trainees/RRT trained

·         Adaptations on the training material

·         Planning training activities

 

Assess distal outcomes of the training course for RRT held at country level with specific attention to:

·         Team composition, institutionalization, administration

·         Outbreak investigation activities

·         Laboratory confirmation

·         Use of PPE and Infection control

·         Risk communication

·         Early pandemic containment

 

The RRT Assessment Tools are grouped into three tools to be conducted at different points in time. The results generated from these tools will form part of the information that will feed into the revision of RRT Modules.
